What to Expect

We want you to feel right at home from the moment you set foot on the site! Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about visiting Grace United Methodist.

• What should I expect?  When you enter the church you will be greeted by one of our many church members.  This friendly face will provide you with information such as where the sanctuary is, provide you with our weekly bulletins for the adults along with children's bulletins for the children attending. 

 

• What should I wear?  You will see a variety of styles of dress here. Most people dress casually... you will see everything from jeans to slacks to dresses.

 

• What is the worship service like?  

  • Our 9:00 a.m. service features singing, liturgy, scripture reading, prayers, and a message.

• How long does it last?
  Our 9:00 AM Services last about 60 minutes.

• Do you have accommodations for the hard of hearing?  
  Yes! The Sanctuary is equipped with a hearing assistance system for the hard of hearing.  Ask for a receiver at the media booth in the back of the Sanctuary. 
   

• What about Holy Communion?  On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion which is open to all who desire to receive it. Communion is done by Intinction, where the wafer is dipped in the Juice. 

 

• How early should I arrive? 
  Just arrive a couple of minutes early.  You should have no problem finding a parking place or a seat in the sanctuary. 

 

• Are the parking lots and building handicap accessible? 
  Yes. Multiple parking spaces are available for disabled persons. The building is also wheelchair accessible.
